Conclusion: We understand
the Bible literally in its proper context as it is written in a specific
genre. We read and understand the Bible
just like any other book. That’s the way
the Holy Spirit inspired the Bible and has preserved it for our time. We don’t read poetry as if it is
history. We don’t read history and
pretend it is allegory or fable.
