The contrast between
Revelation 13 and 14 is the contrast between the DRAGON and the LAMB. John heard a VOICE from heaven that sounded
like the ROAR OF MANY WATERS, LOUD THUNDER AND THE SOUND OF MANY HARPS. The 144,000 are the REDEEMED and they are
characterized as VIRGINS. They follow
the Lamb wherever He GOES and in their mouths are found no LIES.

Conclusion: Chapter 14 describes the total victory of Christ over Satan
and his surrogates, the Roman Empire and it’s false religion of emperor
worship. Rome falls and the church of
Christ lives forever!
